College Winter Break 2008

January 3 - 6
It's College Winter Break 2008!  Expect a weekend of sick hip hop shows and off-the-hook parties.  Throw in college co-eds from around the east and you've got a receipe a memorable party scene.

Subaru Master of the Mountain

January 12 - 13, 2007
Pickup complimentary ski tips in the Subaru Learning Lane, take a mountain tour with the ski patrol or just kick the tires on a new Subaru.
 

West Virginia Open

January 26, 2008
Once again, Snowshoe goes big with the 2008 WV OPEN offering a cash purse and other great prizes for the top competitiors!
 

NASTAR Racing: Thursday - Sunday

Show off the Olympian within each of you with NASTAR!  This GS format race is offered each Thursday - Sunday during the winter season.  Racing takes place on Skipjack trail from 1pm - 4pm.  Registration takes place in the Shavers Centre from 9am - 12pm with an awards presentation immediately following the race.  Cost is is $5 per two runs or $10 for unlimited timed runs.  NASTAR is subject to weather and snow conditions.  Please consult the daily Snow Report  for more details.

Complete with a full menu of activities for young and old, including a bountiful Thanksgiving Buffet. A fantastic time to bring family and friends together to enjoy this early season Holiday.

December 12-14    Winter Celebration & Demo Days Weekend

We are celebrating the return of winter with a huge early season party. Enjoy a weekend package full of live entertainment, crazy on slope games, the 2nd Annual Village Rail Competition, fireworks and free equipment demos from top ski and snowboard manufacturers.

December 13    Freestyle Event 1- Village Rail Competition

December 14-16     Collage Road Trip

January 8-10    Snowshoe's NASCAR Weekend

A new event at snowshoe Mountain this year. In partnership with Coca Cola and the West Virginia Media Corporation, Snowshoe presents NASCAR weekend. This weekend will feature some of NASCAR's most popular drivers. Autographs sessions, a NASCAR tubing race, live entertainment and more highlight this great weekend. All event proceeds will go to benefit the West Virginia Challenger Athletes and the Victory Junction Foundation.

February 2    Cupp Run Challenge

The Cupp Run Challenge is one of the East's most demanding ski races. On a course which covers 1000 vertical feet in 1 1/4 miles, pros and amateurs will race this giant slalom course competing for cash and prizes totaling over $2,000.

February 6-7    Jose Cuervo Games of Winter

Don't miss the biggest party of the year! Cardboard box racers, snow volleyball, tug-o-war, fun ski races, live entertainment and of course, the huge Cuervo Happy Hour Bash in the Connection Night Club.

February 9-12    Armed Services Week

During this special week, Snowshoe Mountain honors the many brave men and women who defend our country. Army. Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard - throughout the week.

February 13-15    Salomon Oasis

The Salomon Oasis returns to the mountain for the three day weekend. Demo the latest Salomon equipment, hang out with some top Salomon pros, enjoy happy hour parties all weekend and much more.

March 7-10 and March 14-17    Spring Break Snow Bash

Try something different this spring break and head to the mountains instead of the beach. Spring Break Snow Bash at Snowshoe is growing into one of the biggest party weeks of the year. Throughout the week, earn Snow Bucks. At the end of the week, use your Snow Bucks at the Snow Bash Auction to purchase items such as skis, snowboards, trips, gear and more.

March 13-14    Southeast Ski and Snowboard Festival

This first year event will bring together the regions top skiers and snowboarders along with great regional bands all in a celebration of freeskiing and riding.

 March 20-21    24 Hours of Snowshoe - The Winter Edition

Playing off the success of Granny Gear's 24 Hours of Snowshoe, a 24-hour mountain bike endurance race, this winter Snowshoe will host the 24 Hours of Snowshoe - The Winter Edition. Skiers and Boarders of all levels will race around the clock. Great prizes will be awarded and all proceeds of the event will go to benefit local charities.

March 26-27    Mountaintop Beach Party and Music Festival

The 5th Annual Beach Party and Music Festival returns to the mountain for another year of great Shag music from some of the industry greats, crazy on slope games, fireworks and more. Once again, this great weekend is the highlight of our Spring Value Season
